Treatment Post: Gratitude Month

There truly is only one underlying, overriding wisdom, power, and presence that is all around me, all around everyone. It is my Higher Power, the Highest Power of all. It continuously courses through and around me.

I breathe in and know that I am one with this power known by so many names, or sometimes it’s nameless. I need only sense it and feel it as an expansive sense of gratitude.

November is called Gratitude Month, a chance for heightened awareness of what really matters. It is so comforting to know in a time when there is so much chatter in the environment that peace is within me whenever I seek it; always has been, always will be. This inner calm that knows that when emotions rattle my inner world, or the world at large, whatever else is going on is merely a situation or circumstance that will pass. Inner peace is eternal and constant. I cast my powerful vote for inner peace, and peace for the greater good. I let my inner voice be heard and trust the process.

With deep appreciation, I look ahead to this exquisite month, grateful for all the ups and downs of my human experience, and grateful for the perfection of my spiritual experience. I am extremely grateful for the freedom from addictive substances and behaviors today, and grateful for the freedom I have to choose empowering thoughts, ideas, and actions in all situations. I am thankful for family and friends, for my colleagues and those that serve as my teachers. They all remind me to open my eyes and stay awake to the lessons and wonders that surround me.

I breathe in and throw my arms open wide to welcome a new month filled with love, light, and limitless possibility. I am strong, I am open, and I receive all the gifts life has to offer including health, joy, abundance, and love. And gratitude.

I release these words to Divine Law with a deep knowing that they are true, that all is well, and that life is very, very good.

And so it is.

In gratitude, harmony, and support,
