A New Day, A New Year

How good it is to be fully present in this exact moment and remember to remember there is one all-encompassing intelligent power that envelopes and indwells me, now and always. I sense my Higher Power with recognition and appreciation that It is and always has been right here, right there, and everywhere.

I breathe in and treasure this awareness, knowing I am one with this peaceful power I sometimes call Spirit, Mother Nature, God, or sometimes call It nothing at all. I sense It, and that’s all I need to know.

With deep exhilaration, I look ahead to a fresh clean slate of a new year, a new beginning, and a bubbling sense of pure potentiality. I carry forward with me all that still serves me and others from the previous year, and I gently release and set down that which does not.

I embrace the future with bold anticipation, courage, and great expectancy for my good. I know I am in the perfect place. I know I have within me and all around me everything I need to learn, evolve, and move forward.

I am grateful for all I have achieved and grateful for all that is unfolding. I stand firm in my truths and values, on solid spiritual ground regardless of events, circumstances, or situations taking place in my home, in my relationships, and in the world.

I am grateful to know that I am at choice, and I am grateful to know I can choose sobriety, serenity, and freedom from addictive substances and behaviors. I am thankful for my friends, family, and experiences that continue to serve as my teachers. I am grateful for all I have learned as I travel the road of happy destiny, and grateful for all I have yet to learn.

I open my arms wide to welcome the next phase, which is already filled with love, light, and limitless possibility. I am strong, I am open, and I receive all the gifts life has to offer including health, joy, abundance, and love. And friendship, connection, and laughter.

I release these words to the Universe with a deep knowing that they are true, that all is well, and that life is very good. Happy New Year––what a gift!

And so it is!

In gratitude, harmony, and support,
